How are you taking notes?
Check out Carolyn Sewell’s awesome notes (known for Postcard to My Parents) from the What’s Next DC conference. Take note on how you document things. Does your documentation process happen in a way where it’s easy enough for you to refer to in a week? A month? Or does that information never see the light of day again?
Thinking about these factors can help you create an efficient, accesible way of finding your notes and files without erupting the Mt. Everest of papers on your desk that has been growing for the past two years. Maybe having Mt. Everest growing on your desk IS the way you document things. Whatever process that keeps you inspired, productive and constantly making is what’s important.
Tell us, what’s your favorite way to document things? Take photos? Write? Draw?
